Trial Law Review

Cesar Juarez joined the Goosmann Law Firm in September 2015. As one of a handful of fluent Spanish-speaking attorneys in South Dakota, Cesar gives a voice to South Dakotans and individuals throughout the Midwest whose needs have gone unmet for too long.  Cesar advises business and governmental entities in cases where the accuracy and content of Spanish communications are important.  Governmental entities have previously retained Cesar to help create forms and written policies for persons primarily fluent in only Spanish.  Businesses and corporations throughout the United States hire Cesar to communicate with and manage international attorneys when they require representation outside of the United States in Spanish-speaking countries.

Cesar is a problem solver.  He finds innovative and creative solutions to efficiently and effectively resolve complex cases either through litigation or, even better, without litigation.  Cesar anticipates and prevents our clients’ legal issues in the employment and commercial law arenas by advising businesses and corporations through extensive planning and strategy to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations.  Cesar focuses primarily on employment law, insurance law, corporate law, and civil litigation cases, as well as expanding the firm’s thriving business law practice.

Cesar says, “I became a lawyer because I saw a growing need for legal services in the Spanish-speaking community, and was fascinated by the legal system in the United States and by the public’s respect for the legal profession.”

When Cesar is not practicing law, you can find him spending time with his many nieces and nephews, playing soccer with his coed team, working on do-it-yourself home improvement projects, tending to his vegetable garden, or actively participating in community organizations.

Something you may not know about Cesar is he is the youngest of nine children.  Cesar says, “I was the baby of the family until my nieces and nephews came along.”
