Senior Paralegal, CEPA™
Direct: (712) 226-7405
As a business focused paralegal, I assist my attorneys and clients by being the point of contact on many of their matters. It’s important to me that our client’s goals are met in a timely fashion, so I keep the matters moving smoothly in order to meet these goals. I assist the attorneys by drafting many of the business documents; including real estate documents, merger documents, organizational documents for new companies, employment agreements, and various contracts.
I also serve as the surrogacy paralegal and do all of the initial drafting and review of all surrogacy documents. I work with our surrogacy clients and attorneys from the beginning stage of an agreement to the exciting final stage of adoptions for the intended parents.
As a senior paralegal, I oversee the firm’s paralegal team and assist them in accomplishing their goals. I started as a paralegal at Goosmann Law Firm shortly after it opened and have been a part of the large growth of the team that now spans across three states. Along with the growth, I was able to learn a wide spectrum of focus areas. This has been beneficial as we’ve grown, and I’ve been able to assist with bringing in additional paralegals and being that resource for them as they continue to grow with the firm.
As our clients grow, our company grows with them. That means implementing new programs in the firm. I’m the first to say that I don’t have much of a creative gene, but with Jeana’s vision and our marketing team’s creativity, I help implement the vision and get new programs off the ground. Whether it’s an independent truck driver limited liability company program, real estate closing services program, quite title actions program, corporate annual maintenance program for our business owners, or the Goosmann Trust Law Counsel’s estate planning program, I’m happy to lend my strengths to the team and be a part of making them successful. There is something wonderful to be said about getting a project off the ground to where it is running smoothly and successfully, and then, be able to hand the reins over to someone else. On to the next project!
