Josh White oversees the development and continued growth of the Goosmann Law Firm as the Executive Director of the firm’s Omaha location. His experience spans from 20 years of leadership and management in various positions including, but not limited to; the Director of Business Development for “From Now On,” Senior Associate Athletic Director at the University of Nebraska Omaha, and Associate Director of Membership Services at the NCAA. For the Omaha location, Josh leads and manages Goosmann Law Firm’s business development efforts and long-term client relationships. He also leads the recruiting and hiring process. Additionally, Josh serves as an Executive Leadership Coach within the firm as well as for clients. As a “culture keeper” within the firm and with deep relationships in the Omaha market, Josh aims to continue with the further expansion of the Goosmann Law Firm.

Previously, Josh was the Director of Business Development at “From Now On”, a mobile app company that focused on fan engagement within college athletics. His responsibilities were on building relationships with schools, venues and partners across the country, expanding the From Now On customer base and provide strategic guidance for both company and product.

From 2010 to 2016 Josh served as Senior Associate Athletic Director for the University of Nebraska Omaha. Josh's responsibilities included being the primary liaison between several campus units and intercollegiate athletics, including academic and student affairs. Additionally, Josh supervised the following administrative areas for UNO: leadership, strategic planning, Division I reclassification, communications, academics, compliance and student-athlete development. He was also the sport administrator for men’s basketball, women’s basketball and baseball.

Josh served from 2006-2010 at Nebraska, where he was the Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance and Planning. During his time in Lincoln, Josh was the coordinator for the athletic department’s strategic plan. Josh was responsible for coordinating the compliance policies, education program, and procedures for the athletic department. Josh streamlined the compliance process in leading the day to day operations for the athletics compliance office.

Josh's “Why”

Josh is a community leader and people connector and as such he and his wife (Jenn) are very involved in various boards and community projects. In their free time, they spend time together enjoying movies, restaurants, and traveling with their son. Josh is also a serious sports fan and enjoys watching local sports as well as the Boston Red Sox any chance he gets.

    • Served in a key leadership role for a start-up mobile technology company, specifically focused on building relationships with Athletic Directors at Universities, as well as venues and partners across the country.

    • Served as the #2 administrator at a 16 sport Division I Athletic Department.
