“These are their livelihoods,” Tyler says, “either as defendants of plaintiffs, and helping them secure that is very fulfilling.” Tyler’s favorite part about being a lawyer is giving a client good news and hearing the sense of relief they exhibit.

Tyler’s passion for education law is borne out of his family, with his father being a teacher before moving into an administrative role. Tyler’s wife is also currently a middle school math teacher. Growing up in this environment helped Tyler understand the many issues facing school districts in modern society. Tyler works to shoulder the burdens of legal issues so administrators can focus on providing the best education to their students.

Tyler knew he wanted to become an attorney since he was in middle school. “I followed an attorney during his day for a school project. Seeing him work and hearing him tell about the sense of fulfillment he received from helping people through serious problems made me want to be an attorney, and it’s been the plan ever since.”
