Omaha Partner and Mediator

Dividing Drama, Discovering Harmony

Partner and Mediator Kelly Turner is a passionate, advocate ready to help individuals, families and institutions find peace in times of turmoil. Her goal is to help her client’s diffuse conflicts, identify the proper course of action and reach a constructive outcome. Kelly prides herself on being transparent with her clients and helps them see the flaws in their cases from the get-go so conflicts can be resolved in a more timely and cost-effective manner. She will actively work with her clients to help them fully understand state laws and be upfront and honest on the best solution or alternative solutions to reach a suitable resolution.

Kelly comes from a rich background of experience that includes mediation, litigation, EEOC, Probate, Trusts and Estate Planning. She serves as legal advocate and advisor to individuals and businesses on legal issues involving human resource issues, EEOC complaints, business transactions, contract disputes, real estate purchases, property damage litigation, estate planning, probate administration, guardianship, dissolution of marriage, and personal injury matters. Kelly has extensive experience in drafting pleadings, estate plans, LLC formations, corporate transfers, reviewing leases, and real estate transfers, serving as Guardian ad Litem.

Kelly’s alternative dispute resolution practice includes mediation for employment matters, probate, commercial litigation, family conflict, guardianships and general disputes. With mediation she hopes to help others direct energy away from old grievances and work towards finding solutions for problems and preserving relationships. Litigation can be a drawn out and expensive process. Kelly uses the mediation process to facilitate clear discussions focusing on the heart of the conflict by identifying the strengths and weaknesses of cases, working to help the parties reach a compromise agreement.

Kelly received her Juris Doctorate from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, her Master of Science from Purdue University, and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Nebraska Lincoln. While in law school Kelly served as a legal intern for the Honorable Maureen Connors.

Protecting people and their relationships is the driving factor for Kelly. She wants to help her clients divide the drama and discover their harmony. —Worth It!
