Katherine Huiskamp

Banker's Lawyer

Omaha Attorney in Banking and Transactional Law

Katherine Huiskamp is the “Banker’s Lawyer”.  As an Omaha attorney, she assists her clients with their business needs to make sure everything runs smoothly day to day, so they can focus on their customers.  Katherine understands the world of banking having come from a family of bankers and working in a bank herself.  She gets the ins and outs of the legal and business side of banking. Katherine listens to her clients to help take their complex issues off their plate, working to achieve their progressive goals – worth it!

Loyalty and being a hard worker are two important traits for Katherine as these are also the values of her clients.  She treats her clients with the same exceptional care they provide their customers in the banking industry. When working on a case, she likes to follow her favorite quote by Nelson Mandela, “It always seems impossible until it’s done.”

Katherine says she has been interested in law from a very young age and has always wanted to help others using her strengths. “My family has a lot of bankers, so I’ve always understood the background, values, and work ethic it takes to be in the banking industry,” Katherine says. “I have a bachelor’s degree in business so transactional and banking law were a perfect fit for me!”
