“My family did not have a lot of money growing up, and I’m aware of the insecurity that accompanies failing to have a financial plan.  As a young husband and father, I value the financial security that accompanies having a long-term plan.  After spending my second summer in law school interning at an estate planning firm, and then acing my wills and trusts course, I discovered that I’m passionate and skilled in this area of the law.  Furthermore, I’m fascinated by how much there is to learn in this practice area.  Estate planning is not nearly as simple as so many people and attorneys believe.”

Sam became an attorney because he enjoys preventing and resolving conflict. With his training in conflict resolution, he enjoys helping people plan for their family’s financial future in order to avoid family conflicts and disputes over their money, property, and affairs. Sam believes that no one should have to worry about their loved one’s estate when they are grieving. His goal is to take the burden of worry away for his clients’.

Sam’s “Why”

In the wise words of J.R.R. Tolkien, “If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold. It would be a merrier world.” With this being his favorite quote, it is no surprise that Sam would describe himself as happy, helpful, and hungry! Some call it a guilty pleasure, Sam calls it a way of life… FOOD. In his free time, you can find Sam with his wife (who happens to be a food scientist) trying out new recipes and local restaurants. Despite always having lived in landlocked states, Sam also enjoys sailing and is deeply involved in his church. Sam considers his family, faith and food to be driving forces for everything he does.
